BMW X5 (E53)

Mission : Install a custom subwoofer

The BMW X5 (E53) are great cars but the sound system is lacking in any decent bass response, we have developed a subwoofer install to correct this in-balance. In the rear quarter panel we custom fit a JL 10’ subwoofer in a sealed box which gives an amazing bass response.

We use a mono amplifier to drive this subwoofer and modify the BMW BM54 to have low level RCA outputs, this gets rid of the need for noisy low level speaker convertors. A neat stealthbox, fully function system that sound awesome.
