Project Description

Make: Toyota

Model: Alphard (Gen 1) 2002-2005

Mission: Upgrade Japanese navigation system and radio (DAB & Apple CarPlay)

The Toyota Alphard is a popular Japanese imported vehicle. It’s a reliable van but its only downside is the navigation and radio units are not in English.

Cartronics specialise in Alphard conversions to give the driver a full UK spec radio and navigation system.

On this ‘later facelift’ Alphard, we removed the factory original navigation system and radio to install and upgrade the amazing Pioneer Touch Screen sat nav/infotainment system.

This new system has full UK radio frequencies, UK (European) navigation maps with English voiceover. You can also connect your smartphone and to the Alphard’s new system and enjoy hands-free calling and media playback.

Apple CarPlay is now included as standard for all Apple iPhone users, so there’s no need to worry about compatibility issues.

Upgrade Spec: Alphard Gen 1 (2003 -2005)

  • DAB (digital) radio
  • Navigation system with real-time traffic information
  • Radio FM/AM
  • CD/DVD (if you have a rear monitor we can connect the DVD player to allow movies to the rear passengers
  • USB
  • Bluetooth hands free
  • Bluetooth streaming
  • Apple Carplay or Android Auto

The new Alphard system will fully integrate with the car’s factory systems including the full use of the car’s steering wheel controls (including the phone button).
